About this route
Strictly guided 80 km, two-day convoy trail run by the 4x4 ATV Club at Rust de Winter, about an hour north of Pretoria. Terrain mixes sandy bushveld tracks with rocky mountains, gorges and stream crossings; overnight is at a basic bush camp (bring 20 L of water and all camping kit). Runs January-May and August-December with 10-15 vehicles per departure.
