About this route
A self-drive eco route of 176-200 km (track-dependent) running from the Skilpad section of Namaqua National Park through mountains and old farmland down to the Atlantic coast. The full route takes six to eight hours of driving; sections close seasonally after rain and during the flower bloom. Chalets at Skilpad and coastal camping in the Groenrivier sector.
